  • It's very expensive
  • There is high wastage
  • Information on circulation and readership can be misleading
  • An advert alone is rarely enough - it needs to be part of a whole marketing campaign or relate to an article

Print schedule for leaflets/brochures

  • Decide on a time-table

At least 10 weeks before the event, you need to write your draft copy and start to gather all your logos, images and additional information together and then.

  • 9 weeks before the event brief the designer/printer
  • 8 weeks before the event get rough visuals back from designer
  • 7 weeks before the event get proofs for correction
  • 6 weeks before the event get proofs and final artwork delivered to the designer/printer
  • 5 weeks before the event check final proofs and return to printer
  • 3 weeks before the event dispatch to the customer
